To all male and female athletes that have trained with coach Charles “Chico” Jones at the University of Missouri-St.Louis(UMSL), or have had there kids, brothers, sisters, cousins, ect. work with him, this Saturday at UMSL is Chico Jones Day. Come out and show your love as UMSL’s mens and womens basketball team will play Illinois-Springfield(womens game @ 1:00pm, mens game @ 3:00pm). A reception for coach Jones will start at 2:00 and continue during and after the game.
Coach Jones is celebrating 30 years at UMSL as a coach and has trained countless numbers of local athletes for basketball, track, and football, including yours truly. Many of these athletes have went on to play at colleges across the country, with some making it to the NBA, WNBA, NFL, and many teams overseas, and he is still coaching, and working kids out today. So if you have a chance please come out and show your appreciation.

Friday Jan. 22, 2009: “Revenge of The Nerds” @ EXO. “Flirt” @ LURE. “Big B’s Birthday Bash” @ HOME. “Celebrity Friday” @ KARMA, ladies free all night, and R&B star Mya, is the guest host.
Saturday Jan. 23, 2009: “Status: Launch Party” @ The City, ladies free until 10:30pm. “Thank God Its Saturday” @ LURE, half off all drinks until 11:00pm. “Chico Jones Day” @ UMSL(Mark Twain Gymnasium) at 2:00 p.m.
